The Shieldsman is a common minion unit. It has lots of movement range and only one attack in front of it with rather a special ability that protects the piece behind it. It is used as a cheap defender for exposed pieces i.e. Ghost and Bishop/queen

Strategy: Shieldsman Edit
Shieldman is best used to "park" a champion in a spot or advance with a champion with great value (preferably 20+).
Strength: Shieldsman Edit
The strength of the shieldsman is being able to protect strong valuable champions such as Greed, queen, dragon, and soulkeeper. It will be able to shield against one attack and prevent opponents from taking these powerful units. It may also promote to guardian which has stronger ability to protect champions from a range.
Weakness: Shieldsman Edit
The weakness of the shieldsman is its lack of attacks (only one forward, making it arguably one of the worse minions in the game) and its limited movement. It can also only protect one champion at a time.
- Shieldsman was nerfed in the v0.43 update because it was too good, being able to protect king from one attack (confirmed by creator).
