Strategy: Lich[]

Lich can be used to summon Skeletons to block attacks or provide some additional offensive power. Care should be taken however, since although the Skeletons themselves have 0 value, the summon costs 4 morale.

Strength: Lich[]

The ability to summon Skeletons makes Lich an excellent early-game defensive and supporting piece. The summoned Skeletons can be used to strengthen one's defense against powerful units, and to make favorable trades. The low cost of Lich also allows one to use more expensive units in the army. Combined with morale-gaining units such as vampire or dryad, lich has the potential to produce an impenetrable infinite defense.

Weakness: Lich[]

One of the biggest weaknesses of Lich is its lack of mobility and offensive power. Even the fully upgraded Lich can only move and attack like a King. Besides its limited movement and attack range, summoning Skeletons costs 4 morale, which is the most costly among all abilities, and skeletons are not guaranteed to be the strongest defense since they cannot kill behemoth.

Trivia[]

  • Lich is one of the iconic units in the game. Its appearances include: the wordmark, the icon of "Return to Title" in Edit Army screen, one of the units on the face of the Ultra Crate, and as the difficulty icon in Challenge.
  • Lich is also featured in the final lesson of the Tutorial, being one of the highlights from the Tutorial Princess.
