(Does not split if it dies while Frozen or petrified. This is very hidden information)

If you want to see its current moveset or any other unit's moveset (or the moveset it had in any version from 0.37 to 0.56 both included) here is the link (credits to main_gj): http://igniam.xyz/tools/ceo-gallery.html

The Giant Slime is a Champion unit. When the GiantSlime is captured, it splits into two base Slimes if the corresponding fields are free. If these positions are already occupied by other units no Slimes will appear. The newly spawned Slimes each have the potential to turn into a GiantSlime again by capturing an enemy unit.

Notice that GiantSlime, GiantSlime+, GiantSlime++, and GiantSlime+++ would always split into basic Slime, which would only transform back to GiantSlime!

Strategy: GiantSlime[]

Strength: GiantSlime[]

The GiantSlime, if embedded into the enemy's front row, can quickly swarm and destroy multiple minions and possibly some champions. While its poor movement speed, especially at its base form, is normally a significant drawback, using WindMages or Portals can fling the GiantSlime forward much faster, allowing it to do its job. With the right setup involving a Phantasm or Ghost, GiantSlime, and WindMage, you can send the GiantSlime to their front row in two turns.

Weakness: GiantSlime[]

The GiantSlime is hard-countered by effects that destroy it, such as the Pyromancer, Dryad, and SoulKeeper. All of these effects block it from spawning new slimes, quickly ending its spree. Beyond that, it can only spread if it's both in a position to spawn new slimes and if one of those slimes can immediately take a new piece. If neither condition is true, the GiantSlime is likely to die ineffectually. In addition, the giantslime cannot move or attack diagonally, which makes that a weakness as well.
