Strategy: Enchantress Edit
Strength: Enchantress Edit
The Enchantress is one of the cheapest Legendary pieces, and her ability can have a variety of uses. Defensively, she can keep pieces in danger of melee attacks alive if they are in range of her ability, a trait which is especially important with regards to the king. While her attacking abilities are limited (for promoted Enchantresses) or nonexistent (for a level 0 Enchantress), one can use her ability to grant temporary melee immunity to place pieces in harm's way for a turn and then attacking from that position. If used correctly, she can be an invaluable tool, and is particularly helpful when used in conjunction with a WindMage or other magic units (since they do not lose enchantment even after using the magic). Enchantress is also excellent with armored units, since after the unit takes a piece, it will still be protected against yet one more attack.
Weakness: Enchantress Edit
The Enchantress has extremely limited attacking abilities. Starting with none whatsoever at level 0, she progresses to being able to attack like a King at level 2 and 3 (Enchantress++ and +++). Her ability is also entirely ineffective against ranged or magic attacks and has a short duration at a mere two turns. Enchanted pieces also can't attack the enemy King using melee (except Samurai's trigger)
