The Archer is a basic minion that moves to the upper-right and upper-left adjacent tiles. It has a special attack (Ranged) Destroy Target on the second tile above the unit.
Note: The pictures are outdated, instead, all tiers of the archer cost 1 less morale and the orange tile (magic) are changed to ranged which is the same, but requires line of sight.

It attacks forward with a Magic (update is ranegd) attack and moves diagonally forward. Higher tiers give it more movement.
Strength: Archer Edit
The archer's strength relies on creating opportunities to lock aim on low mobility pieces two squares ahead of him. Since he destroys his target without moving, he generally attacks from safety if well defended. Archer works well with freeze, which can come from Frostmage, Comet, or Frostmephit. Freezing the target, then using the archer to target and destroy the piece works especially well with high mobility pieces, such as Dragon, Queen, or Rook. Due to Frostmage's large attack range, the archer's lack of mobility is made up for. The archer can also disrupt opponent setups since it forces them to move.
Weakness: Archer Edit
The archer has really low mobility and usually has to make many preparatory moves to be of any use. Furthermore, it only has one space it can attack (range 2), so it is weak to any attacks made on it from anywhere else.
